Steven S. Kittredge

Schenectady_ Steven Kittredge, 53, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2016.
Steven enjoyed bowling and participated in a bowling league at Town and Country Lanes in Guilderland. He was a fan of the NY Yankees. He worked for 25 years at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady.
Steve was a kind and generous man, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a devoted father and the proud grandfather of 2 granddoggies. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
Steven is survived by his mother, Sonia Goudreau; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Brian VanAlstyne; brothers, Michael Kittredge, James (Rose) Kittredge; sister, Jennifer (Labeeb) Ismail; nephew, Jonathan Kittredge; niece, Hazel Kittredge.
Steve was predeceased by his mother's longtime companion Ralph G. Mancini.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Wednesday, March 16th from 5-7pm . A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Madeline Sophie Church on Thursday, March 17th at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sunnyview Foundation by visiting www.sunnyviewfoundation.org.
