Arzoumanian, Susan
SCHENECTADY - On January 30, 2024, Love surrendered, Susan Arzoumanian, as she went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Susan was born in Troy, N.Y., to Asdik and Beatrice (Seghakin) Arzoumanian. She was a graduate of Lasinburg High School and was employed by the NYS Department of Tax and Finance and the Department of Labor, with over 40 years of service.
After her retirement she went to volunteering at the former Balltown Wesleyan Church, Schenectady County Library (Woodlawn Branch) and Youth for Christ. She was a long-time board member of the Christian Women Connection.
She is survived by her brother, Charles Arzoumanian; and sisters, Mary and Beatrice Arzoumanian. Nephews, Jacob (Lisa), John (Mary), James and Joseph Arzoumanian. Six grandnieces and nephews; and two beautiful great-grandchildren, Violet and Theo Briggs.
She was predeceased by her brother, Hapog Arzoumanian.
A Remembrance service for Sue will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Latham Bible Baptist Church, 495A Watervliet Shaker Rd., Latham, N.Y. 12110.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Latham Bible Baptist Church.
