Susan Husted

ALBANY – Susan (Susie) Husted, 101, of Albany passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Craneville Place in Dalton, MA. She was born in Bayonne, NJ the daughter of the late Michael and Suzanne Hovanec. She grew up on a farm in upstate NY.
Susan married in 1930 and moved to Albany, NY, where she raised 5 children. She enjoyed painting, canvas art, and reading. Susan was also quite active in church and work; attending several in the area. She enjoyed Bingo and activities at St. Sophia Apartments, where she lived for many years.
Susan is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Leon V. Husted; a son, Michael Husted (Doris) of Oswego, NY; and daughters Patricia Bobolink (John) of Minnesota and Susan Pallman (Frank) of Long Island, NY.
She is survived by her two sons; Robert Husted (Mary) of Florida, and David Husted (Barbara) of NY, as well as many grandchildren – all of whom are great!
Her last years were spent at Craneville Place in Dalton, MA. The considerable care and comfort extended to her were much appreciated by the family.
Funeral services will be private.
