Susan J. Mcmurphy

Schenectady-Susan J. McMurphy, 37, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 after a 2 year long battle with breast cancer. Sue was survived by her parents John McMurphy (Father), Cathy McMurphy (Mother), Maria Madelone (Stepmother), and Joyce Stone (Stepmother) as well as her three sisters Melissa McMurphy Robin McMurphy and Angel McMurphy. Sue enjoyed sharing her life with her lifelong partner Gerald Stone and children Rebeka Nelson (20), Tiffany Nelson (19), Tyler Stone (18), Bryan Stone (15), Raychel Stone (6), and Elysabeth Stone (2). Throughout Sue's life, she greatly enjoyed spending time with all of her beloved friends and family who will forever keep her in their hearts and memories.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.
