Susan M. Mason

Susan M. Mason, 67 of Hollywood Florida passed away on Sunday Aug 23, 2015 after a brief illness and hospital stay.
Susan was a graduate of Schalmont High school 1966, Spencer Business School and SCC. She was employed by NYS department of corrections and health services in Albany, NY. She was resident of Rotterdam, and Latham before retiring to Hollywood Florida in 2013.
She is survived by her only daughter Laurie (Ron) Devernoe, and 5 beloved grandchildren, Triplet granddaughters, Rachael, Rebecca and Sarah, grandsons Ron Jr. And Caleb.; her sister Maryann (George Sr.) Amedore of Rotterdam ; her brothers: Louie II (Diane) Martin and James (Kay) Martin of Davie, Florida, who were also her loving caretakers; 9 strong nephews, 2 beautiful nieces, many great nieces and nephews, and cousins who all loved her very much.
She was predeceased by parents: Louis, Sr. and Lillian Martin, brother John Martin, and nephew Louis Amedore.
Susie loved bright colors, especially pink and the family invites you to wear bright colors to the celebration of her life:
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8pm on Friday, September 4 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday September 5 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Sts Cyril and Method Mausoleum, Rotterdam.
