Susan M. O'Reilly

Susan M. O'Reilly, 69, of Cohoes passed away on August 4th, 2023 after a brief battle with Cancer.

Susan was born on November 16, 1953 to Ralph and Eileen Moe of West Palm Beach, Florida. After Susan graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Fl in 1971, she went on to attend St. Mary's Dominican College in New Orleans, Susan then started her career at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA.

After moving from New Orleans to Teaneck, New Jersey, In 1983, Susan met Michael O'Reilly at a housewarming party in New City, New York. Susan and Michael wed on January 17, 1987 in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.

Susan loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her children whom she was so proud of. As her children would say, Susan was the number one Mom in all categories 35 years in a row, a title that remains unbroken to this day.

Susan was predeceased by her husband Michael J. O'Reilly, her parents, Ralph and Eileen Moe, Father in Law, Walter O'Reilly, Mother in Law, Loretta O'Reilly, Brother in Laws, Timothy O'Reilly, Brian O'Reilly, James O'Reilly. Susan is survived by her loving children, Heather O'Reilly, Colin (Brigid) O'Reilly, her sisters; Kathy (Charles) Bazemore, Alison Moe, God Daughter; Kendall Moe, brother and sister in laws; Thomas (Christine) O'Reilly, Kevin (Elissa) O'Reilly, Patricia O'Reilly, Ellen O'Reilly, Mary O'Reilly, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be on August 14, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary of the Angels Chapel (Siena College, Loudonville, NY).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to to the hope club at the American Cancer Society. Donations can be made online at www.cancer.org or checks can also be made out to "The American Cancer Society Hope Club" located at: American Cancer Society
