ALBANY – Susan J. Schultz, 92, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 with her niece, Ann, by her side.
Susan was born in Jersey Shore, PA on July 25, 1929 and was the daughter to the late John M. and Susan (Kinley) Richburg.
She attended Public School 21 and Livingston High School and graduated from Albany High School.
Susan worked as a bookkeeper for Empire Market, Grand Cash, Grand Union and Albany Public Market where she retired.
Susan loved watching television; her favorite show was Perry Mason. She also enjoyed watching bowling and the Mets.
Susan was the wife of the late Charles Vincent Schultz for 60 years. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ann, Eleanor, Bessie, Helen; and her brothers, John, George, Howard and James.
She leaves her brother, Vernon (Barbara) of VT and sister in law, Janet; her nieces Ann-Marie and Barbara Jane and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of Susan's life to immediately follow at 1:00 pm on Friday January 7, 2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will immediately follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Susan's memory.
