Susan Vogel

Albany – Susan Rose Vogel, 44, passed away on Saturday December 27, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, she is the daughter of Jean M. Phibbs and the late Thomas A. (Fay) Phibbs.

Sue was employed as a dispatcher in the Mohonasen School District for more than 15 years. She loved to garden, work on crafts and cook for her family. Sue was also a lover of animals and leaves behind her canine companion Lucie.

In addition to her mother, Sue is survived by her children Danielle J. Vogel and Joseph T. Vogel; her uncle, Thomas Conlan; her "Big Brother", Jim (Victoria) Conde; her nephews, Eric and Jason Conde and John McDonald; and her "Hunny", Chris Schreiner.

Those wishing to remember Sue in a special way, may make memorial contributions in her name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204 or the Danielle & Joseph Vogel College Education Fund at any local SEFCU branch.

A memorial service for Sue will be held on Saturday January 3rd at 7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m.
