Susan W. Greenberg

Greenburg, Susan W. BERLIN Susan W. Greenberg, a forever independent and fun-loving person, left this earth surrounded by a circle of love on October 25, 2011. She was 57. Raised in Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Wright and Lena Cobb Wright and the wife of Joshua Greenberg. She earned her bachelor of science in elementary education from the College of St. Rose. Sue worked with young children for over 30 years. In that time, she touched many lives with her kindness, compassion, creativity and optimism. She loved art, music, and spending time with her friends and family. She will always be remembered for her laughter and ability to bring people together. She was the beloved mother of Corrina Greenberg, Carl Greenberg and Abraham Greenberg. She was sister to Rosemary Barger, Michael Wright, Patrick Wright, Stephen Wright, Kathleen Finck, Caroline Condon, Daniel Wright, Timothy Wright, Karen Baumgartner, and Brian Wright, and is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Rensselaer County Hospice who cared for Sue with such compassion during the past few months. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumpter Ave., Albany. Internment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at Christ the King Church, Tuesday, November 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. The parish family of Christ the King will gather on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the church for a service for prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Those wishing to send flowers may send them to Christ the King Church for the morning of November 1.
