SLINGERLANDS-Susan L. Yearing, 70, of Slingerlands, NY passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at her residence following an illness. She was born in Montvale, NJ the daughter of William and Dorothy Roche Brotherston. Susan has resided in the Slingerlands, NY area since 2008. She was employed as a purchasing agent for various companies including Diagnostic Retrieval Systems, Inc. in New Jersey.
She is survived by her loving partner of 30 years, Thomas Ashmore of Slingerlands; her step daughters Florence (David) Izzo, of Northport, Michelle (Gregory) Thomas of Latham and Cindy (Caleb Roepe) Ashmore of Somers. Susan is also survived by her grandchildren Lauren, Thomas, Michael, Brooke, Morgan and Brennan and by her brother Bruce Brotherston of Parkridge, NJ.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons St., P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007 in memory of Susan.
