Susie A. Ogborn

COLONIE, NY – Susie A. (Assunta) Ogborn, 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Pompea Scaligeri. Susie was a Village of Colonie resident for most of her life. She enjoyed visiting Atlantic City and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Susie was the beloved wife of 52 years to the late Donald J. Ogborn. She is the devoted mother of Donald M. (Lynn) Ogborn of Old Forge, Robert J. (Kathleen) Ogborn of Colonie, Richard D. (Cindy) Ogborn of Colonie and Judith A. Ogborn of Colonie. Susie is the cherished grandmother of Kelly (Jason) Marx, Domonick (Vikki) Ogborn, Kimberly (Anthony) Mastrianni, Robert J. Ogborn, Jr. and Katlyn Ogborn. Also surviving are her loving great-grandchildren, Shelby, Aubrie, Michael, Anthony and Vincent and several nieces and nephews. Susie's family would like to thank their close friends, Kay and Jack Hoffman for all of the love and care they gave to Susie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Christ Our Light Catholic Church (formerly St. Francis de Sales) Loudonville. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Susie A. Ogborn.
