TROY – Susie Mae Williams, 82, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2103 at her residence.
She was born in Clarendon County, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Tommie Reid and Lila Simon. She was predeceased by her husband, Meso Williams. Susie was employed by Van Rensselaer Manor as a nurse's aide and NYS Wynantskill School for Girls as a counselor.
Susie was devoted to her family and leaves to cherish her memories; children Anna D. Graham, predeceased Lily Mae Williams, Lee Roy Williams, Geri White, Barbara L. Williams, Romeo D. Williams, Rose Mary Williams, Mark A. Williams, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Host of family, close friends, and neighbors.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at the Church of Jesus Christ, 562 Clinton Ave, Albany. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9 to 10 am at the Church. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be sent 1737 Union Street #120 Schenectady, NY 12309.
