FREEHOLD, NJ - Sylvia A. Schachne, 88, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at The Manor in Freehold, NJ.
Sylvia was born in Mansfield, Notts England on April 24, 1927. She was the wife of the late James Schachne.
Sylvia is survived by her children, John A. (Margaret) Schachne of Voorheesville, NY and Suzanne C. Khanna of Toms River, NJ; her grandchildren, Elicia McMullen, Christina McClurken and Shalini Kapoor. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
For those who wish to attend, a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church, 25 Mountainview St., Voorheesville, NY 12186.
A donation in her name may be made to the Township of Toms River Animal Shelter, 235 Oak St., Toms River, NJ 08753.
