Sylvia A. Mosall

Sylvia A. Mosall, age 81, passed away on February 11, 2025.

She was born in Whitehall, NY, the 11th child of the late Henry and Carrie Weber. She was also predeceased by her daughter Barbara and her siblings: Albert, Harry, Richard, John, William, Evelyn, Marion, Ruth, Betty and Laura.

After raising her family, she retired from NYS Criminal Justice Services. She enjoyed doing word search books, doing ceramic activities and being with her family.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 63 years Douglas; her children: Douglas M., Robert H., William J. and Kim (Thomas) Cox; six grandchildren: Elizabeth, Matthew, Carly, Amanda, Christopher and Kayla. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday February 20, 2025 from 5 to 8 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral services at the funeral home on Friday February 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Peter’s Hospital and Our Lady of Mercy for the care given to Sylvia and the family.
