Sylvia P. Moser

COLONIE – Sylvia P. Couch Moser, 83, of Colonie, passed away on Sunday October 3, 2010 at the Inn of Community Hospice. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Leslie S. and Mary E. Owens Couch.
Sylvia was a library assistant with the South Colonie School District for over 30 years. She was Past President of Colonie Village Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Sylvia was an avid quilter and enjoyed boating. She was a member of the H.B. Kuhn Seniors, the Silver Streakers and a former member of the Crescent Boat Club.
Sylvia was predeceased in 1997 by her husband of 48 years, John A. Moser Sr. She is the beloved mother of Jack Moser (Robbie) and Debbi Moser (Mark Moran) all of Colonie. Sylvia is the sister of the late Leslie F. Couch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her feline companion, Mickey.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
