Sylvia Plant

Sylvia S. Plant, a resident of Guilderland, NY passed away April 1st, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. She was born in Detroit, MI to Leon Sr. and Irma Sapsuzian. Sylvia attended Bethlehem Central High Scholl high school in Bethlehem, NY In 1959 she married her devoted husband of 56 years, Jack L. Plant. They settled in Guilderland. Sylvia's sister, MaryeRose Sapsuzian predeceased her and her brother, Leon Sapsuzian lives Loudonville. She was the loving mother of Eric L. Plant, Lora F. (Brian) Chamberlain and Chad L. Plant. She was also the grandmother of Brian L. and Kayleigh F. Chamberlain, Erica L. Plant, the late Lindsay G. Plant and their brothers, Jeremy and Ryan Cardin. Sylvia is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Sylvia worked for State Farm insurance for over 30 years. She enjoyed games, family vacations, and spending time with her loving husband, children and grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Friday, April 10th at 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home at 343 New Karner Road in Colonie, NY. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 at New Comer.
