Sylvia Dawn Porwick-Jorge, 51, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at St. Peters Hospital with her loving family by her side. Sylvia was the daughter of Richard Porwick and the late Roseanna Cruzado.
Sylvia was devoted to her faith, enjoyed going to a variety of Churches.
She loved being with her dogs, Diesel and Channel, her children and grandchildren, shopping and her black hair and purple lipstick.
Sylvia is survived by her children, Lance David Jorge, Blake David (Cara Goldfarb) Jorge, Falan Rose Jorge, Dylan Jorge. Her grandchildren, Dakota Lee Prince Jorge and Leah Jorge. Her God daughter Shilynn Rose Porwick. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and her siblings, Cheryl Valerio, Mark Monge and Cristina Cruzado.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Sunday May 23, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
