It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sundown passing of Tabatha C. Sanders on January 12th at her home in Albany NY.
Tabatha was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Elenora Sanders and Jack Paige. She spent most of her summers in Mississippi where her family originates. Tabatha A.KA. Tab, which is how her family and friends knew her, was a compassionate, caring, easy going & friendly soul. She loved reading, listening to music, shopping, fashion, spending time with her grandkids, playing spades at family events and playing scrabble with her late sister Zina.
Tab earned her associates in science from HVCC, as well as her associates in criminal justice from Sage, where she made the dean's list every year. She held a number of jobs over the years, most notably was Lockheed Martin, CDPC and Janitronics.
She is survived by loving sister Alescia Sanders, step sister Tamika Graham, her sons Tyrod Sanders(Ashley), Devontae Batson, grandsons Javonne Ford-Clark, Brayden Flowers, Lyric Sanders, Deontae Batson, godson Nija McQueen, and her partner William, several nieces and nephews and a host of good friends that she called brothers and sisters throughout her life and NA journe.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Zina Black and brother Barron Unique Sanders.
A visitation will be held on Friday January 20th from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY
