Niskayuna -- Takako Saegusa, age 76, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2006 at St.Clare's Hospital.
She was born on January 1, 1930 in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from the University of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, Japan with a bachelor's degree in English. Takako married Fumihiko Saegusa in Japan, emigrated to the United States in 1959 and settled in Schenectady.
She is survived by her husband, Fumihiko; two daughters, Yuki and Yukari; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends to attend funeral services on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the National Fibromyalgia Association, 2200 North Glassell Street, Suite A, Orange, CA 92865 in memory of Takako Saegusa.
