Tara Denise Milton

Albany~Tara Denise Milton was born on 3rd February 1974, in Good Samaritan Hospital, West Islip, New York to Elizabeth V. Milton and Thomas Johnson.
She was raised in Wyandanch, New York in a part of the town called the Boon Docks!! Tara was Vibrant, Funny and Outgoing.

She loved a good party. Her laugh and smile were one you will never forget. Tara was a Ham from a very young age, loving to be in the spotlight, or the center of your attention. Always taking pictures. We all know her famous mirror shot (the original selfie).

Tara went by many names. One of her first nicknames came from her Grandfather he called her Heckle and her God Sister Donna Holland was Jeckle after the cartoon trouble making Magpie duo and boy did, they live up to their names. As Tara got older, she would have various nicknames and titles like T, Mother, Auntie, Best-friend, Trees, Myrrah, Spirit. But her favorite name was Grandma! All of them having different meanings. But all embodying who she was to those that knew her.

Tara was preceded in death by her Mother Elizabeth V. Milton.

She is survived by her loving, children Maurice Milton, Andrea Haslip, Auviana Arrington, Jha Far Arrington. Her Grandchildren Zeoric Milton, Alana Lewis, Aaniylah Lewis, Maurice Milton Jr. and I'yanasky Milton, Her Sisters Nicole Milton-Johnson, Uquana Walker and her brother Tomas Harper, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, God Sisters, God Children and a Host of, family and friends. She was greatly loved and her absence will be felt forever.
