COLONIE_Taryn K. Dunbeck, 24, passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2016.
She was born on December 8, 1991 to Richard and Linda (Van Valkenburgh) Dunbeck.
Taryn was a 2009 graduate of S. Colonie High School. She was quiet and kind. She enjoyed music and animals, especially her two beloved kitties Biff and Sammie.
Taryn left this world giving others the beautiful gift of life as an organ donor. She will be remembered and missed dearly by all who loved her.
Taryn is survived by her loving parents, Richard and Linda; brothers, Richard Dunbeck III, Sean P. Dunbeck; grandmother, Joanne H. Dunbeck; aunts and uncles; Wayne (Jackie) Van Valkenburgh, Gary (Deborah) Van Valkenburgh, Gene (Diane) Van Valkenburgh, Nancy (David) Metter, Robin (Keith) Taylor, Thomas Dunbeck and many cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Richard Dunbeck, Sr.; grandmother, Dorothy Van Valkenburgh and great-grandmother, Mary Hurley.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016 from1-4 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY. A funeral service for Taryn will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10 am at New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery following funeral services on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to support Taryn's love for animals to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
