LOUDONVILLE – Teresa A. Jung, 73, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Health Park Medical Center in Ft. Myers, FL, surrounded by her loving family.
Teresa was born on December 12, 1933 in Elmira and is the daughter of Catherine Mandell of Elmira and the late Michael Mandell. She graduated from Elmira Free Academy. Teresa was an executive secretary for County Excavation in Latham for over 20 years and prior to that she worked as a bank teller for several years. She was a communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo and working crossword puzzles. Most of all Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two cherished grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles A. Jung; her devoted sons, Charles A. (Andrea) Jung, Jr. of Malta and David M. (Brenda) Jung of Colonie; her cherished grandchildren, Michael and Lisa Jung of Colonie; her brothers, Michael (Joan) Mandell, Daniel (Rosalie) Mandell and Richard Mandell all of Elmira; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Calling hours at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
