Teresa Bongiorno

Albany- Teresa (LoGiudice) Bongiorno, 83, went home to be with her Lord on July 2, 2018 after a brief illness.

Teresa was born in Albany, New York and resided there her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Domenica (DiBlasi) LoGiudice.

Teresa was predeceased by her husband, Antonino (Tony) Bongiorno. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Mary Pratt, Nancy LoGiudice, Jane Bower and Connie Brancatelli; her brother, Dominic LoGiudice.

She was married to Antonino (Tony) Bongiorno for 56 years until his passing in 2016. Teresa worked for 39 years with the NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance, retiring in 1992.

Teresa is survived by her beloved daughters, Debra Bongiorno and Nancy (John) Flanagan, both of Albany. She was the adored grandmother of Nina Terese (Dalton Lyons), Danielle Jaye (Michael Pleskach) and Jared Bongiorno Smith. Teresa also leaves behind her brother, Joseph (Rebecca) LoGiudice and her sister-in-law, Rita LoGiudice, of Albany. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and dear friends.

Calling hours will be held from 11am until 1pm, with a service being held at 1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, 12205. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
