Teresa E. Catalano

Colonie-----Teresa E. Catalano, age 81, passed away on February 25, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Teresa Catalano. She was also predeceased by her brother, Dominic and sisters: Carmella, Margaret and Antoinette.

Teresa was a Keyboard Specialist for NYS Tax & Finance, retiring in 1996. She was proud of her GED Diploma. Teresa loved going to casinos, playing Bingo, enjoyed traveling with her sisters and being with her family. She was a member of Christ Our Light Seniors.

She is survived by her brother, Anthony (Yvonne) Catalano; her sisters: Sera Hotaling, Grace Catalano, Marie (John) Drexel, Giovanni Brooks. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Staffs of St. Peter's Hospital, the Emergency Room and the Nurses on the 4th Floor for the kindness and special care given to Teresa.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday March 1, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 2 at 10 a.m. at Christ Our Light, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Christ Our Light Seniors, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY 12211 or to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Albany, NY 12205.
