Teresa M. O'Connor

NISKAYUNA – Teresa M. O'Connor, of Niskayuna, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Rocco D. and Mary Viggiano Fragomeni. Teresa was employed as an executive assistant with NYS OMRDD in Albany for many years. She is remembered for her devotion to her family and friends. Teresa was a very spiritual person who shared her faith in concerning and devout prayer. She was committed to staying fit and her home baked cookies were treasured by all. Teresa was a communicant of St. Clare's Church and coordinated visitation for the sick and infirmed.
Teresa is the beloved wife of 49 years to John F. O'Connor. She is the devoted mother of JoMarie (Chris) Ethier and Jeffrey J. (Diana) O'Connor. She is the cherished grandmother of Nathaniel and Delainey O'Connor, Jacob and Caleb and Anna Ethier. Teresa is the dear sister of Rocco D. Fragomeni, RoseMary (Walter) Spallane, Patrick (Maureen) Fragomeni and the late Josephine Fragomeni and Anthony Fragomeni. She is the sister in law of Anne Fragomeni and the late Mary Ann Fragomeni. She is the dear cousin of Lucille Baldes who was a sister to her. Teresa is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and cousins.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 9:00 at St. Clare's Church, Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 6 at St. Clare's Church, 1947 Central Ave., Colonie. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the International Myeloma Foundation, 12650 Riverside Drive, Suite 206, North Hollywood, CA 91607 in memory of Teresa M. O'Connor.
