Teresa "Terri" Proskine

GUILDERLAND - Teresa "Terri" Proskine, 91, beloved wife, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at Teresian House on Friday, November 5, 2021.
Terri was born in Little Falls, N.Y. and grew up as the youngest of seven children. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Gordon V. Proskine "Gordy Sr." and in 1958 they welcomed their only child, Gordon G. Proskine.
Terri's happy place was sitting in the sun by her pool chatting with the neighbors. Later after retirement, she and Gordy Sr. enjoyed the sun and pool at their home in Florida. Terri loved being a mother and was so proud of her son the "CPA". The addition of her two grandchildren allowed her to spend even more time at the pool as she taught them to swim.
Terri cherished her friendships and was a devoted friend to so many over the years. She will be fondly remembered by those whose lives she touched.
Terri was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Gordon V. Proskine and her beloved son, Gordy. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan Proskine and her grandchildren, Rachel and Eric Proskine. Terri had a special place in her heart for her nieces, Gail Krumpholtz, Linda Herringshaw and Gloria Richards who were like daughters to her and her "dear" friend, Judy Natoli who gave Terri her last hug.
Services will be private and burial will be at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
