Terrence Thomas Brady, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 6, 2015.
Terrence was the son of the late James Brady and Anna Mae Brady.
He was the devoted husband of over 55 years to Shirley (Van Tassel) Brady.
Terrence was a member of St. Clare's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Albany Fire Department for over 29 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved going fishing, on vacation to the Cape and also to Wildwood New Jersey.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Richard J. Brady; and his brothers James and Daniel Brady and his sister Patricia McGill.
Terrence is survived by his wife, Shirley Brady; he is the brother of Robert Brady and Joan Donato. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and close neighbors, friends and his "best buds", Dickie Sill and Dick Dickert.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Gardner for all of the years of care and compassion given to Terry; also to the entire staff at Hudson Park Nursing and Rehab. and the member of the APPFRA & APPFA Union for their brotherhood.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association 1 Marcus Blvd., Suite 203, Albany, NY 12205 in Terry's memory.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 8:15 am at the funeral home and then to St. Clare's Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow the Mass at Memory Gardens, Colonie, New York.
