Terri Legere Jackson

d. August 21, 2011

DELANSON—Terri died suddenly and unexpectedly on August 21, 2011. She left behind a heartbroken husband, her beautiful and talented daughter, Heather and a grief stricken family.
Terri had a gracious huge heart, a gentle spirit and an aura about her that made one love her at the moment of meeting. There is not enough room to begin to list her qualities.
Terri was born in Rotterdam and attended Notre Dame and Immaculate Conception Schools. Terri had the love of travel and adventure in her blood. She lived in many wonderful places. She lived from coast to coast and in Hawaii. She had a lovely cabin in Alta Canyon, Utah as well as a Martha Stewart house and yard on the east bench of Salt Lake City, Utah, abutting the Wasatch Mountains. Terri ended up in Delanson, New York where she was legendary for her elegant flower beds. Her vegetable gardens are a thing of beauty and abundance.
Terri had many interests; she was an avid reader, a gifted cook and baker. Not long ago she became a sports buff and analyst. Terri played the guitar. She was a self-taught musician with a beautiful singing voice. She was an accomplished equestrian, a published author, and her home decorating skills were over the top. Among many other things, Terri had a keen eye for photography; she was an avid antique collector with a great Camera collection. She adored her kittens. She loved all animals and most insects.
That was a brief summary of who Terri was. The highlight of Terri's week was her weekly visit to Ferrari's Restaurant with her husband.
Terri was beautiful in looks, style, class and personality. We have suffered a great loss in her passing. But we will console ourselves in knowing that she has joined her loving father who passed away this June. Terri, rest in peace. We Love You.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 29 at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 225 Lafayette Street, Schenectady.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Terri's memory to the Quest for Grace Foundation, 1482 Erie Blvd., Schenectady, NY 12305.
