Terrill S. Miller

COLONIE – Terrill S. "Terry" Miller, 72, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at his home. Born in Danbury, CT he was the son of the late Ernest and Gladys Miller. Terry lived in Colonie for most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked for the US Postal Service for over twenty years until his retirement in 2004. Terry was active in the Republican Party and was a committeeman in Colonie. He was a member of the Uncle Sam and Ft. Orange Stamp Clubs, the Capital District Civil War Round Table, Village of Colonie Silver Streakers Senior Citizens, and Pine Grove United Methodist Church.


Terry was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Miller. He is survived by his step-children, Diane (Craig) Deyoe of Guilderland and Daniel (Stephanie) Limmer of Kennebunk, ME; grandchildren, Erin and Shannon Deyoe and Sarah and Margo Limmer; brother of Lyndall Miller of New Milford, CT. Also surviving is his dear friend, Marjorie Warren of Colonie.


Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 or Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1580 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Terrill S. Miller.
