COLONIE- Terry A. Nichols, 61, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday morning at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Joseph and Doris Nichols.
Terry was a Viet Nam veteran in the US Army. Terry was a auto body man at Armory Garage and then worked for the Watervliet Arsenal for several years. He was an active member of Fuller Road Fire Dept.
Terry is the brother of Donald (Carolyn) Nichols of Guilderland and Nancy Nichols of Delmar. He is the uncle of Julie (Tom) McGrail Jr. and Daniel Nichols. Great uncle of Thomas Steven McGrail. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services with Fire Departmental Honors will be Monday morning at 11:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fuller Rd.
