CLIFTON PARK – Terry M. Paigo, 63, entered into eternal life on Monday, December 3, 2007 at Ellis Hospital.
Terry was born on February 12, 1944 in Albany and was the son of the late Marge Cattagio Paigo. He served in the US Army from 1964 to 1967. He retired as a supervisor from BASF in Rensselaer after 33 years of service. After that he worked for four years at Union College as a cook. He received his degree from Schenectady Community College in their Culinary and Arts Program.
Terry was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church. He enjoyed cooking, photography, helping others and especially spending time with his family.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Paigo; his sons, Jeffrey M. Paigo of Colonie and Ronald (Marlita) Paigo of Ravena; his cherished grandson, Michael A. Paigo; his mother-in-law, Maria Szewc; his brother-in-law, Frank Szewc; his sisters-in-law, Ellen Paigo of Fort Ann and Patricia Paigo of Niskayuna; his nieces and nephews, Scott Paigo, Christopher (Jennifer) Paigo, Tracey (Dave) Unser, Todd Paigo (Maria Persons) and Nicholas (Kristen) Paigo and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Diana T. Paigo and his brothers, Ronald J. and Richard J. Paigo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady. Interment will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon – Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. There will be no calling hours.
