COLONIE – Thaddeus E. Carkner, 21, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 5, 2008.
Thaddeus was born on November 19, 1986 in Albany and is the son of Judith Ann (Teutschenbach) Carkner of Colonie and Minard B. Carkner Sr. of Delmar. He was currently was working at Harbor Freight Tools in Colonie. He enjoyed horseshoes, cooking, drawing and camping and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
In addition to his parents, Thaddeus is survived by his brothers, Minard B. Carkner Jr. (Nikki Colitsas) of Delmar and Alan M. Carkner (Melissa Evely) of Westerlo; his nephews, Kayden M. Carkner and Mason J. Carkner; his grandparents, Betty and Andy Ruth of Albany and Irene Jensen of Selkirk; his aunts, Cathy Palmeri-Shea of Haines City, Fla., Robin (Bob) Molt of Albany, Tammy Carkner of Schenectady, Dee Derrington of Benten, KY; his uncles, Bert Carkner of E. Greenbush, Paul Carkner of Schenectady, Scott (Jill) Carkner of Feura Bush and Charles (Christine) Carkner of Albany; his cousins, Frankie, Bobby and Tony Palmeri, Brandon, Danielle and Jaymie Carkner and Tara Derrington. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Emanuel Eck and Charles Carkner.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-South of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
