The Rev.Daniel Uzupan

SCOTIA – The Rev. Daniel Uzupan, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia.
Rev. Uzupan was born on January 4, 1929 in Middleburg and was the son of the late Michael and Karoline (Kullen) Uzupan. He was an ordained Luther Minister for over 50 years with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. He served at many churches in the Capital District as well as many other states. He enjoyed camping, canoeing and traveling with his family.
Rev. Uzupan is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, K. Roselyn (Ahl) Uzupan; his loving children, Mark D. (Sindy) Uzupan, Timothy M. (Nicole) Uzupan, and Amy L. (Jeffrey) Monaco; his cherished grandchildren, Lara H. Uzupan, Thomas K. Monaco, Stephen J. Monaco, and Amelia P. Uzupan; his great granddaughter, Ezraline E. Uzupan and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Baptist Health for their care given to Rev. Dan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
