GUILDERLAND- Theodore R. Nobles, Jr., 77, of Guilderland, passed away on Thursday October 2, 2008 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital.
He was born in Albany and was the only child of the late Theodore R and Esther L. Parker Nobles. Ted was employed at Tobin Packing Company for 32 years. He enjoyed traveling, golf, bowling and having family picnics. Above all else, Ted loved and cherished his family.
He is the beloved husband of 59 years to Shirley Shufelt Nobles. He is the devoted father of Theodora L. (Walter) Ruchalski of Clifton Park, Theodore R. (Dorita) Nobles of Guilderland and Helen E. (Paul) Pierce of Albany. He is the cherished grandfather of Jodi (Jonathan) Bright, Paul (Pamela) Pierce, Robert Nobles, Pierce and Kierna Bright. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and his cousins Donna and Casmir Rejak.
Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Western Turnpike Rescue Squad, 3686 Carman Rd.
