Theresa Cervera

Albany- Theresa J. Cervera, 87, passed away January 18, 2007, at the Health Center of Merritt Island, Florida. Theresa was born in Albany on March 10, 1919 to the late Germano and Constantina (Fralleone) Martelloni. She was a homemaker as well as owner and operator of the Cottage Beauty Salon in the 1950-1960's.
Theresa was the devoted wife of 63 years to the late Frank Cervera; cherished mother of Anthony (Cheryl) Cervera of Colonie, Fran (Rey) Sanchez of Merritt Island, FL, and Maryann (William) Van Vranken of Colonie; sister of Michael Martelloni, Dorothy Valle, Frances Locci, and Mary Giminiani. She is the loving grandmother of Frank, Michael, Dawn, Brian, Cherie, Jim and the late William Jr., and the great-grandmother of Angelica, Antonio, Ariana and Nicholas.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Monday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
