Theresa E. Schroeder

COLONIE – Theresa E. Schroeder, 81, died on Friday April 10, 2009 with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Theresa was born in Concord, New Hampshire and resided in the Albany area for most of her life. She is the wife of the late Harold R. Schroeder. Theresa retired from St. Peters Hospital in 1993 where she worked in the transportation department. She enjoyed spending time with her three daughters, her grandchildren and her many friends.
Theresa is survived by her three daughters, Diana (Marc) Fish of Albany, Pamela (Armand) Dion of Clifton Park and Karen (Gary) Vandenburg of Albany; her six grandchildren, Michael, Thomas and Richard Romand, Scott Dion, Brian and Kerianne Vandenburg all of Albany. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12 noon at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany NY 12205 in memory of Theresa E. Schroeder.
