Theresa L. Bisognano

COLONIE – Theresa L. Bisognano of Colonie passed away On July 8, 2010 at home. She was born on June 9, 1934 in Albany, to the late Francis and Irmgard Ann Judge. Theresa is the beloved wife of Andrew J. Bisognano of Colonie. The greatest joy in Theresa's life was her family. She was also vice-president and treasurer of Andy's Colonie Hardware. Survivors, in addition to her beloved husband, are her loving children; Joanne Dwyer of Colonie, Michelene Robbins of Ormond Beach, FL, Charles (Tara) Dwyer of Rhinebeck and Christopher (Niki) Bisognano of Colonie. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren; Rob (Rose) Piurowski, Andrea Piurowski, Jessica Robbins, Wilhelmina and Bronwyn Dwyer, and her loving great-granddaughter, Nora Theresa Piurowski and a second great-grandchild whose arrival is due in September. Theresa is the loving sister of Nancy Giacoppe of Colonie and the late Edward, Francis and Joan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 13th at 10:00 A.M. at Christ the King Church. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Theresa in a special way may send a contribution to The Community Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 or Christ the King Church Building Fund, 20 Sumpter Ave., Albany, NY 12203 in her memory.
