Theresa A. Lee, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Clifton Park, NY. Theresa is predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Maria Romanelli and her beloved husband Paul L. Lee.
Theresa was born in Sulmona, Italy, during one of the most tragic times of modern history WWII. Theresa and her family's story is that of courage, hope and tenacity. After the war her father moved them to America to follow their dream of freedom. This is where she met the one and only love of her life Paul. They quickly started their family together and never turned back. Theresa chose to be a stay at home mom to raise her three children with love and care.
When the children had grown, she pursued a career in banking and worked for Key Bank until she retired with Paul. They enjoyed day trips, eating out, relaxing at home watching the Giants, the Yankees and spending time with their family. Mom said "That when God calls her to heaven, He will have a rake and shovel ready for her to tend to heavens gardens and the beautiful gardens they will be". She loved her family and life itself and will be missed everyday. She now is at peace with the Lord and her husband Paul.
Theresa is survived by her children, daughter Sabrina McCabe (Daniel); sons Paul Richard Lee and John William (Marianne) Lee; grandchildren Megan and Caitlin Lee; also her brother Gabriel (Elizabeth) Romanelli and sister Anna St. Germain and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
