Theresa Ramsey

COLONIE – Theresa M. Ramsey, 78, of Colonie, passed away on Tuesday, April 03, 2007. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Verner and Mary Kilts. Mrs. Ramsey was an Albany resident for most of her life. Theresa was a caregiver to all of the children in her family. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with them. Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Donald M. Ramsey. She is the devoted mother of Kathleen M. Donohue and her husband, Dennis of Watervliet and the late Kenneth Ramsey and Donna Toriska. She is the cherished "Gram" of Amy Donohue of Rensselaer and Sean Donohue and his wife, Amanda of Watervliet. She is the sister-in-law of Violet Hildebrandt and her husband, Corey and Kenneth Ramsey and his wife, Frances, all of Albany. Also surviving is her special cousin, Marie LoPonto.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society, Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Theresa M. Ramsey.
