Theresa E. Schager

Altamont- Theresa (Varin) Schager , born in Chazy Lake, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, September 6, 2024.

She was the beloved mother of Diane Cyr (David) and Dennis Schager (Kort), cherished grandmother to Varanee, Logan, Colin, and Kierra. 

Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph; her mother, Dollie; her father, Vivian; and her siblings Gene, George, Robert, Rufus, Theodore, and Agnes.

She is survived by her brothers Leon, Norman, Paul, Roger, and Vivian, as well as her sisters Alberta, Constance, and Priscilla. 

Theresa also leaves behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply.

Theresa’s warmth, kindness, and love will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home with interment following at Memory Gardens.
