Theresia C. Childs

ALBANY – Theresia C. Childs, 89, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at home with her loving daughter Chris and son-in-law Leon by her side. Born on February 3, 1923 in Union City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Eleanor M. Henry.
Along with her parents, Theresia was predeceased by sister Eleanor Henry; brothers Raymond Henry and Thomas Henry; sons Leonard and Lee Childs, and daughter Evelyn Morrison.
She is survived by her daughters Christine (Leon) Paige and Sandra Holton; son Roger Childs, and a host of grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 441 Washington Avenue, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
