Latham - Thomas E. Almasy, 73, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at home with family by his side.
Thomas was born in Albany, NY to the late John and Alice Almasy.
Thomas worked in Albany, NY with various employers as a custodial or maintenance worker. Thomas liked classic cars, traveling, camping, especially Sylvan Beach, bringing his grandchildren to the local fairs and mainly spending time with his family.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife Sandy for 49.5 years; his children Tom Jr; Joe, Dave and Denise Almasy; his grandchildren Gavin and Zachary Almasy; his fur babies Pebbles, Cookie, birds Taffy and Bluey and other relatives and friends.
Thomas is predeceased by his sister Victoria Gardy.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to St Peter's Hospice staff for the care and compassion given to Tom. Also an extended thanks to his associates at ARC and special thanks to Michelle Forbes.
An invitation to everyone to attend a visitation on Wed., Feb 28th from 10-12 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY with a Graveside to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery (Menands).
