Thomas F. Cramer Sr.

Ballston Lake- Thomas F. Cramer Sr., 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2023, with his loving family by his side.

He was the son of the late Charles Cramer and Catherine Cramer (Rooney). Thomas was the devoted husband to Karen H. Cramer. They were married for 33 years.

After graduating from high school, Thomas enlisted in the United States Army National Guard where he served proudly until his honorable discharge. Thomas worked as a bartender and at Market 32 where he made many friends until his retirement.

Thomas enjoyed spending time with his entire family, and his friends down south. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed a nice cigar and a good glass of red wine, cheering on The Rangers hockey team and attending his granddaughter Tatum's sporting events. He had a fondness for birds but especially enjoyed watching the cardinals and hummingbirds.

In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas F. Jr. (Shakira) Cramer; his daughter, Lisa Cramer; his grandchildren, Devan, Tatum, and Sydney Cramer; his great-granddaughter, Sadie Lopez; and his siblings, Pat (John deceased) Jaffarian, Charles Cramer, Sandy Cramer, Joseph Cramer, Michael (Jeri) Cramer.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is predeceased by his sister, Catherine (Samuel) Denardo.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189 on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow the service at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Troy, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Thomas's name to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Association or a charity of your choice.
