GLENMONT- Thomas Drexel Davison, age 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 23, 2021.
He was born in Fayetteville, NC, the son of the late Francis R. Davison and Geraldine Avery. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, proudly serving from 1967 to 1973, and earned a B.S. degree in Communications from SUNY New Paltz.
Thomas retired from NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities as a Social Worker. After retirement, he volunteered for six years as an EMT at Bethlehem Volunteer Ambulance.
He loved painting and drawing, reading, spending time with his dogs, bird watching, and motorcycles. He was most happy and proud when watching his daughter dance and his son wrestle.
He is survived by his loving wife Cathy, daughter Audrey, son-in-law Charles, son Luke, and his brothers Chris and Jamie. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205 on Saturday June 26, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. A memorial service will follow at 12 Noon.
