Thomas E. Conlin, Sr.

COLONIE – Thomas Edward Conlin, Sr., died on Sunday, May 16, 2010. He was born on September 30, 1926, and was the son of the late Lillian Beebe and Harold Conlin. Tom was very proud to have served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is the beloved husband of 63 years to Joan White Conlin and their three devoted children; Kathleen (Charles) Harrington of Watervliet, Susan (Frank) Coraldi of Wilmington, NC and Thomas E. (Toni) Conlin, Jr. of Latham. He is the loving brother of Etta Gray, Edward, Ted and Chester Beebe, Carolyn (Michael) Clitherow and the late Joan Conlin Lapishka and Joseph and James Beebe. Tom is the cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson, born on May 15, 2010. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and all of the family he loved very much. In addition to his parents and siblings, Tom was predeceased by his grandson, Robert J. Hanley.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers,Tom's family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Patriot Flight, Inc., 740 Hoosick Rd., Box 4260, Troy, NY 12180 in memory of Thomas E. Conlin, Sr.
