CLIFTON PARK- Thomas E. Sheldon Sr., 74, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Tom was born to the late Fred and Ethel Sheldon in Troy, NY on February 12, 1941. Tom graduated from Watervliet High School in 1959. It was there that he met his loving wife, Pat, with whom he was married for 52 years. He was a loyal employee of National Grid, and eventually retired with over 20 years of service.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Pat, his children; Christina (Charles) Radloff, Thomas (Denise) Sheldon, and Diana (Brad) Gerard, his cherished grandchildren; Tanya, Michaela, Brett, Alex, Katherine, Cody, Kyle, and Zachary, and his beloved dog, Katie.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 3:00-5:00, with a memorial service to be held immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's name to Saratoga Community Hospice, 179 Lawrence St, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 and Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Albany, NY 12204.
