LOUDONVILLE - Thomas E. Tripp, Sr., 93, passed into eternal rest on January 6, 2014. Although a World War II combat veteran, after a long, heart-wrenching campaign, he lost his battle with Alzheimer's disease, a war that cannot be won!
He retired from Monroe Business Machines and was a loyal, dedicated, and hardworking family man who had a gentle soul and a deep respect for nature and all living creatures.
Tom was predeceased by his loving wife Anne, and daughter Bonnie. He is survived by his sons, Ron ( Deborah) Tripp and Tom (Barbara) Tripp; three grandchildren, Sarah (Tripp) Gilbert, Jason Drobnack, and Nicole (Drobnack) Ronk; and several great - grandchildren.
A private burial with military honors will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Thomas E. Tripp, Sr.
