GUILDERLAND – Thomas Gilbert Miller, 49, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at The Inn at St. Peter's Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.
Thomas was born on March 12, 1956 in Albany and is the son of Marie F. Sullivan Miller and the late Alfred N. Miller. He graduated from Colonie Central High School in 1974. Thomas has co-owned Tri-City Construction in Colonie with his wife Carmina since 1978. He is a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Schenectady.
In addition to his mother, Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Carmina Miller; his three devoted sons, Anthony, Christopher and Kevin; his three sisters, Linda (William) Serritella of Colonie, Elaine (Richard) Miller-Angerami of Guilderland and Maribeth (Frank) Orciuoli of Wynantskill; his three brothers, Gregory (Lori) Miller of Ravena, and Robert and Scott Miller, both of Colonie; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carmine and Anna DeStefano of Colonie. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Eric and Jessica Recene, Daniel Miller and his fiancé, Katrina, Kayla Miller, William Angelo Serritella Jr., Ryan and Erin Serritella, Aaron and Matteo Angerami and Marissa, Natalia and Rocco Panetta; and a grand niece, Celina Rose Miller and a grand nephew, Nicholas Robert Recene.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Paul the Apostle Church in Schenectady where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Peter's ALS Center, 315 So. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Thomas G. Miller.
