Thomas H. Fealey

COLONIE – Thomas H. Fealey, 79, of Colonie, passed away on Monday, December 04, 2006 at home, surrounded by his family. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late John J. and Mary A. Fealey. Tom was the Director of Administrative Analysis for the New York State Office of General Services, from where he retired. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church where he also served as a Eucharistic minister. Tom was a member of West Albany Fire Dept.#2 for over forty years. Mr. Fealey volunteered for many years at St. Mary's Food Pantry in Albany with his wife. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom is the beloved husband of 57 years to Pauline (Berthiaume) Fealey. He is the devoted father of Michael (Lori) Fealey of Carlisle, Jim (Barbara) Fealey of Slingerlands, Bill (Michelle) Fealey of Niskayuna and Gregory (Karen) Fealey of Durham. He is the cherished grandfather of Katie, Emily, Tim, Kevin, Lauren and Megan. Special nieces and nephews also survive. Tom was predeceased by his brother, John F. Fealey.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 8:45 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Our Lady of Mercy Church at 9:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
