Thomas H. VanVorst, 62, of Albany, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2016 at Ellis Hospital.
He was born on May 26, 1953 son of the late Charles and Alice (Griffin) VanVorst in Albany, NY.
Thomas was employed with the Local Union Iron Workers throughout the capital district for many years.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Rogers VanVorst; children, Stephanie and Kelsey; his grandchildren; brothers, Billy, Leonard, Jackie, David, James
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:00am at Loudonville Community Church, 374 Loudon Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211.
